Data: miesiąc temuHi! Could you please let us know what specifically you're having trouble with in an update to your review? If you need any assistance on our end, you can contact us at: https://proton.me/support/contact. - Ocena: 1/5Autor: john, 2 miesiące temuI've uninstalled & reinstalled this extension multiple times in the past few days since its release.
As of March 22, 2024 (v.1.15.1) it is still not working properly and "breaks" many websites. Whatever "fix" they applied does not work.
Either downgrade to the previous version or wait until v.1.16.x since installing this version will create too much frustration with webpages not loading, etc..
Last tip: TURN OFF AUTO-UPDATE. If you do manual update checks and see there's a new version, then wait a week to read reviews before updating; this is the lesson I've learned from this experience... very disappointed in Proton.Odpowiedź autora

Could you please contact us at https://proton.me/support/contact so we can help you troubleshoot? - Ocena: 1/5Autor: Firefox user 17762763, 2 miesiące temuas many have reported, the latest version of Proton Pass is just a dumpster fire.
It is well documented now and Proton is aware of it.
So what now? One reviewer said he was going back to the previous version. That's great, but where do I find it. Currently I cannot even log in to Proton.me web site itself.
I signed up for a ProtonMail account before it was even released many years ago. I am significantly less pleased with their VPN and PASS as well as Calendar. They all seem half-baked so I deleted them and only use mail now.
Needless to say I am very disappointed in their performance. I suspect they are trying to grow too fast.
In any case, PASS was very clearly not tested very well, as probably tens of thousands of user will finally attest as soon as they can figure out why half the sites they visit seem broken.
PROTON: PLEASE POST A LINK TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION BEFORE ALL YOUR CURRENT USERS ABANDON YOU FOR GOOD.Odpowiedź autora

It took me forever to figure out what is the problem. Test your builds before publishing ! Everything got broken, from login popups, to loading pages ..etc even the suggested passwords got broken, I get random password suggestions now. Basically having links in the passwords became meaningless. I'm reverting back to version 1.13.2, before you ruined everything.

As others have noted, this extension has somehow managed to break a solid chunk of the internet. Unfortunately for Proton mail users, this is the only way to get email aliases...because this security and privacy focused company wants to hook into your browser, for some reason, rather than using their own platform natively.

I first became of the issue when a web editor stopped loading on one of my computers that has Proton Password Manager installed. After accessing the same page on two different browsers successfully, I "refreshed" and reset Mozilla Firefox and I was able to access the Web Editor. Then I re-installed Proton Password Manager because I put all my important passwords in and the Web editor immediately stopped functioning. I
Furthermore, the page I had open to Proton.me broke as well. Deleting the Proton Password Manager resolved access to the Proton site, but darn if my twelve sentence passphrase isn't locked down on a GDrive behind one of those passwords I can't get at quickly.
This one incident kills the value since I will be manually resetting passwords. While I can't blame Proton for my not printing the pass phrase, having it is useless if the plugin doesn't work on a major browser like Firefox.
Right now I'd give this ZERO stars since even if they fix in today, I will have wasted more time than the plugin is worth cleaning up after trusting it.

Dropdowns don't work. The wordpress editor encounters an error when it's running. Kindle Reader won't load books. It just goes on and on. I disabled EVERY SINGLE plugin and the problem is Proton Pass. Now that I have it disabled, everything works like it should including page load times that I thought were a problem with my web host. What a MESS this extension is.

However, I could not find out how to open the Pass database in order to see passwords and other data. I wrote to Support but got no reply, a recurrent problem with Proton, I find. I have been unable to get the icon into my tool bar and my efforts seem to have disabled Pass when I try to log onto my iCloud account.

For more information on how to bring the Proton Pass icon to your tool bar, please refer to: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1363217. Once successfully added, you can simply select the icon to access your stored login entries and data. - Ocena: 1/5Autor: Firefox user 18198194, 6 miesięcy temuThis app is just not secure. At best, all passwords are secured by a six digit PIN. Sure, you can set up a good passphrase for your protonmail account, but I've used it like twice. Once you log in, it doesn't log you out - even when you exit Firefox. It's open to whomever uses Firefox. The best you can do is require a PIN which must be used if PP has been idle for a certain time. Oh, and the app drops the PIN requirement occasionally and it must be reset leaving you completely exposed in the meantime. Seriously, only six digit protection for all our passwords. Might as well skip a password manager and just use 123456 everywhere.

Data: 5 miesięcy temuThank you for your feedback! The latest version of the extension asks for your PIN when restarting your browser. Please make sure that you are not using an outdated version. Moreover, in general, you should not log in on untrusted devices, so make sure to log out of Proton Pass after you no longer need it, if your threat model includes such cases.
Please report the issue you mention with the extension dropping the PIN at pass@protonme.zendesk.com, so we can look into this. - Ocena: 1/5Autor: Anonymous, 6 miesięcy temuNow the piece of crap stopped working altogether, it keeps timing out. The only way to get it t work is to use a VPN. Even though, I can access the website normally. I'm going back to BitWarden.
The 2FA is way too limited (3 entries) in the free version.
There's no way to filter your logins by 2FA.
There's no way to generate a random password from the addon itself.
No Light theme.Odpowiedź autora
Data: 6 miesięcy temuHi! Could you let us know what kind of filtering options you are missing in an update to your review? Currently, you can filter your data by Logins, Aliases, Cards and Notes.
